Every team needs a coach to organize, motivate, inspire, instruct and keep players at the top of their game. Some of you have may have already looked into taking up the role of a coach and would want the opportunity to try it out and pursue it as a career path. If you have ever played the sport, cricket coaching will help you to share your experience and knowledge with other aspiring players and give back to the sport that gave you so much enjoyment. We have developed strategies that will help and allow new participants to learn, develop new skills, and find success along the way.

Coaching Courses

Phase 1:

Level 1 of cricket coaching is an entry-level course that provides aspiring cricket coaches technical skills and teaching knowledge that would be required as a coach to other aspiring young cricket players. Face to face sessions remains a critical part in the coaching development as it provides hands-on support and practical knowledge.

Phase 2:

To start this course you will need to be more than 21 years of age and should have completed Phase 1 of the course. This course serves as an entry-level for first-class cricketers who should be able to coach any junior with confidence. You will be able to extend your skills as a coach, learn and understand how to progress, and motivate the players to enhance their skills and reach their goals.

Phase 3: 

This course covers the technical or tactical aspects of cricket which includes more advanced topics and focus on the principles of sports science and medicine. Emphasis is put on skill assessment methods that would equip the coach with individual technique analysis, error detection, and mistake correction.

Phase 4:

This course is mainly for professional and career coaches working in the national or domestic level. A lot of emphasis is put on individual and team management, sports law, game plans, opposition analysis in different conditions, strategic management, and the use of technology.
