Dubai Mammoths eased past General Petroleum by seven wickets. Winning the toss and choosing to bat first, General Petroleum piled on 136 for seven in 20 overs. Opener Sumit Dahiya top scored with a brilliant 40 from 42 deliveries with the help of two boundaries and a six while Ghiyasudin (22) and Aziz Ansari (25) chipped in with significant contributions.For Dubai Mammoths, Junaid Shamsu claimed two wickets.
Chasing a tricky target, Dubai Mammoths were off to a brilliant start despite the loss of an early wicket. Opener Ateq Mahmood led the charge scoring a gritty 51 from 24 deliveries consisting of eight fours and a six before Abid Chaudry and Raj Dhiraj shared a 40-run unbroken partnership to sail home to victory. While Chaudry chipped in with 34 not out, Dhiraj hit a 16-ball 22.
