Three half centuries were scored as Mir CC recorded a huge 182-run victory over General Petroleum in a Group D of the One Stop Tourism 43rd Bukhatir Premier League organized by Sharjah Cricket Council.

Electing to bat first, Mir CC on a positive note as openers Bilal Irshad and AA Afzal shared a whopping 131 runs for the first wicket. AA Afzal scored a 47-ball 51 supporting seven boundaries and a six.

Bilal Irshad carried on his good work but was unlucky to miss out on his century by just eight runs as he secured 92 from 77 balls consisting of 10 boundaries and two sixes.

Abdullah Azhar smashed a 17-ball 24 with the help of a boundary and two sixes while S Malik smashed 30 from 26 deliveries studded by four boundaries.

But it was batsman number nine who scored a brilliant 42-ball 71 not out peppered with six boundaries and four sixes while Saifullah Noor chipped in with 21 from as many balls including three fours as Mir CC achieved a massive 376 in 47.2 overs.

For General Petroleum, F Alam claimed three wickets while Habib Ghazi bagged two.

In reply, General Petroleum opener Rafiullah Rahimi made a strong start with a 56-ball 59 containing eight boundaries and two sixes and Syed Muhammad Haider Shah gave him support with a 31-ball 35 laced with seven boundaries.

But wickets fell in quick succession before F Alam scored an unbeaten 46 from just 32 balls but his efforts only drag the proceedings as General Petroleum were all out for 194 in 30.1 overs.

Kashif Mir was the pick of the bowler for Mir CC to scalp five wickets.
