Sewa CC recorded their second successive victory in two days while Atlas Foundation hardly dropped a sweat to post an easy win in a low-scoring match on day 14 of the 29th Ramadan Rathath MF Cup 2017, organized by the Sharjah Cricket Club.

Babar Ghazanfar took his second back-to-back man of the match award as his half century helped Sewa CC ease past Radio4 by 84 runs while Atlas Foundation defeated Sharjah Cricket Council Under-19 by eight wickets.

Winning the toss and opting to bat first, Sewa CC lost Hazrat Nabi for a naught. Babar Ghazanfar and Waseem Tahir combined well to milk a brilliant 138-run partnership for the second wicket.

Waseem Tahir perished scoring a superb 59 from 42 balls including eight boundaries and a six and Babar Ghazanfar followed suit in the next over having blasted an impressive 84 from just 37 deliveries consisting of three fours and nine sixes.

Nabeel Pulicharchi faced just 21 balls to smash an unbeaten 42 studded with three boundaries and two sixes as Sewa CC posted 211 for five in 20 overs.

Chasing an imposing target, the pressure on Radio4 showed at the start as they lost two wickets for just seven runs, Abdul Rehman Baloch accounting for both.

Nadir Hussain (26, 25b, 4×4) was the only other batsman to show some resistance as Radio4 were all out for 127 in 19 overs.

Abdul Rehman Baloch, Nabeel Pulicharchi and Babar Ghazanfar all claimed two wickets each for Sewa CC.

In the other match, Sharjah Cricket Council Under-19 were bundled out for a paltry 67 in 18.4 overs thanks to a brilliant spell from Saeed Khan. He claimed five wickets in his 3.4 overs giving away only 10 runs, while Rifat Ullah supported him picking up two wickets.

Atlas Foundation just needed 6.3 overs to achieve the target with Rifat Ullah top scoring with 21 from just nine deliveries.
